Digital card

I have made this card for my friends 50th birthday. This is the first time i have used this digital program so was quite pleased with my first effert, i must thank my good friend Sylvia for helping by showing me how to get to grips with it ---she is a real gem !!

I should have taken the pic on a light background because you can't see its made on a black card with silver mounted onto it and the backing sheet onto that. I printed an extra sheet with the image onto it to cut out and mount again, this gives the card depth. The swirles and number were made with the digital program and then covered with black fine glitter.

Three baby cards

I recently bought these downloads from Clipart Fairy and think they are so cute, i love the ribbon on the baby's bottom on the first one. The images are bought ready to print so are easy to make for those quick cards and there are also inserts to match as freebys on Wendy's blog!  I have trouble printing on strong card so i usually print onto quality (180gms) printing paper/card, i then mount onto the card of my choice with a backing paper behind the image. The first card i have printed onto Stampin up card and it seams ok with the insert in.

I have added Glamour dust on all the cards which the camera hasn't picked up and the second card is decoupaged to give it a bit extra depth.

Something new for me !

I have been going to Parchment craft classes for a few weeks now and really enjoy this style of card making. These are the first three cards i have made, quite basic but i am getting better -- completed this weeks project in the two hours we had -- (except for the border and the insert) !

I have left the sentiment off the last two cards until i know who i'm going to send them to.

This is the first time i have made a double easil card so i am quite pleased with myself, i think it turned out ok --even if i do say so myself !!!  ---   lol !
The stamp i used was a "Penny Black" and i coloured it with promarkers. The papers came from a craft magazine !

Shoe card

I made this one a few months ago but didn't get it posted on my blog, anyway as it happens my friend wanted me to make another one for her friend. I changed the colour of the shoes, i used watercolour pencils to colour them in and added some little flowers that i had in my stash.

Forever Friend card

Hello everybody, i'm trying to post more often on my blog so today i have three cards to post ---yes THREE!!! -lol ! I have so many ideas floating around in my head but i'm always so tired to make them. I've also started a Pergamano class which i'm enjoying, all the ladies are lovely and the cards/ projects they have made are so inspiring --i want to make them now --lol ! -- but i have to learn the basics first    :- (

Well --- i got my mojo working this weekend because these cards had to be made, i appologise  for the pic as it was taken on my camera -- still can't find my digital one.

The first one is a card i made for a little girl who brings the Avon with her mum --i've known her since she was in her pushchair --now she's 10 !!  Its a Forever friend image ontop of a rainbow sheet which has been cuttlebugged with the birthday folder + some card candy.
