http://craftymomentscardmaking.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.htmlI made these two cards for my brothers birthdays, they share the same birthday but there is 6 years difference both being born in the 50's and played these games in the days when there were no computers or game consuls --there is always a lot of ribbing going on as to who's Birthday it is on the day--lol !
You can download the free sheets i used and more on Vince Ballards blog ----

I think Vince is very talented, i love his ideas ! I hope i have done his images justice -- my brothers loved the cards i made for them, hope you like them !

Cupcake
I love cupcakes --who doesn't ! -- just the look of them makes my mouth water --lol !
I coloured this image with Sakura pens using water and a paint brush, this way the ink isn't so heavy. I added a nice red gem for the cherry and a bow to finish it off !
Hope you like it !

Unusual Silver Wedding card !
This card is not the traditional silver wedding card but the person its for is quite young and likes cutie type cards so i came up with this one, hope you like it !
I coloured the image with my new Promarkers ---just learning so nothing complicated, i added some Glamour dust which adds some sparkle and a ribbon to finish it off. The message was embossed in Silver --had to have something silver on it !

Wedding card !
The image on this card was painted at a class i went to with Promarkers, i used some glamour dust to add a bit extra sparkle which doesn't show up very well in the pic. I used the Cuttlebug hearts folder down the centre but as it was an A5 card it wouldn't go through the Cuttlebug the right way, i had to mount the two pieces of embossed card down the centre and join it secretly underneath the image ---what we have to do -lol!
The ribbon idea came from a bought card --- i punched a hole at the top and slotted a doubled piece of ribbon and then slotted it underneath the fold on the other side ---if you can understand that !!
Hope you like it !

Clarity stamping !
I should have posted this last week but forgot!
Some friends of mine from the Imag-e-nation forum (which is closing next week) meet from time to time for a day of crafting and chat and sometimes just coffee and shop but whatever it is we always enjoy each others company and have a laugh along the way --lol !
We had a treat last week as one of the demonstrators in the shop we like to go to (Strikes Garden centre in Bournmoor, Durham ) is a fan of Clarity stamps by Barbara Gray and the shop also stock them. They are lovely stamps on there own or you can use more than one to build a picture by masking different areas of the pic and also use other techniques like braying and sponging to build a picture.
I got the opportunity to try the tecnique out and this is the finished result, it is just a raw project and needs to be made into a card but i think i will just keep it on the wall in my craft room.
I also made this card for my sister who is feeling under the weather to cheer her up, she loves pigs so thought this would make her smile !
I stamped the image at a friends crafting get-together and colourd it in with Watercolour pencils ----- loved the finished card !

Its about time i posted some cards !
Hi everybody, what a day i've had !
The forum that i am a regular poster is closing at the end of the month. It was a shock when i heard the news yesterday and couldn't imagine life without being part of it as i have got so many precious cyber friends on there. Some of them i meet up with who live in my area but others who don't i didn't want to loose touch with. I'm pleased to say that one of the members decided to start a new forum so lots of people have been moving over today so thank you Lynn for all your hard work !
Thought you might like to see some cards i have made recently!
First one was made for my Mother-in law to give to friends for their Golden Wedding. Thank you to Daizy-Mae from the imag-e-nation forum helped me with the gold initials !
Second one is a stitched card i made using a template i bought at a craft show, you prick the pattern in a circle and stitch very much like spirelly --i added a "moorhouse" decoupage of a boy and girl in the centre !
Third one was made using a embossing folder and then i used glamour dust on the embossing to highlight it !
Thank you for looking
