21st birthday card

Hi everybody, i have made this card for my niece who will be 21 next week and is at university. I had to make sure it was made in good time (I'm usually making at last min ) as her parents are going to Manchester to celebrate with her next week and i will be on holiday from Monday. I was pleased with finished result but will let you all be the judge of that  :-) !

I used Kanban silver, grey and black stripped on top of satin black card for main card. The border stripe was some black peel off which i have had for ages (its also in white) ..they are paper not the traditional silver or gold ones. The number and letters were cut with my Cricut with Plantin Schoolbook cartridge on 1/12 cut with capital for first letter, i used Hunkydory black with silver spot card for letters and numbers and added some gemstones to each number and letter.....they were mounted on silver mirri card ...corners punched ....on top of black and numbers where on top of circles cut with Nestibilities. The flower had a rinestone spacer  with a gem brad in the middle from "Hobby House" with a little hanging key attached to it.

Silver Wedding anniversary

I made this card for a friends Silver Wedding Anniversary. I used a Nestabilities die for the card shape and the flowers were made with Marianne D Creatables Ribbon Flora#3. with a diamontie brad in the centre.

Another sisters birthday !

I have 6 sisters so they keep me going with Birthday cards :-) this is a new template i have tried out and loved it, i think i will be making more of these cards. Got to say my sis loved it too! I made one for another sis a few weeks ago and used the same image (different card design) she liked it then so it wasn't hard to think of what to do for this one.

This images is a Penny Black stamp which is very versatile and useful for all occasions.The side strip was cut with a Martha Stewart punch.

Ruby wedding Anniversary

I was asked to make two cards for a Ruby Wedding  Anniversary. One of them wanted yellow roses on it (if possible) well i didn't want to disappoint ...would you ?  :-)   apparently the bride had them in her bouquet ...

I came up with the idea to add some gold chiffon roses from    Meiflower a computer generated message and some small ruby heart gems. The silver leaves were made with a Mariann die. The heart shapes were made with white glitter card but it hasn't shown up in the pic which is a shame because it was lovely.

I have used the same heart cutting dies on the second card but the centre red heart has been cuttlebugged, i used a computer generated message and added some gems and a flower decoration. The fancy strip across the front was made with a Martha Stewart punch, the idea for the strip came from Val ... (i added a ribbon)  hope you don't mind Val  :-)!

Cup of tea !

Another card for a friend .... she loves her tea from a nice cup (not a pot) so i thought she would like this decoupage image! I love it too ..... i think its nice and clean looking, it reminds me of when my grandma used to set the table for tea, i still love a cloth on the table :-)

I've put diamontise inside the flower heads and round the tablecloth and a little flower in the corner.

Card for a friend!

I forgot i had made this card a few weeks ago but didn't post it untill after my friends birthday. I think it was a Pennyblack stamp i used mounted it and tied a chiffon ribbon round which dressed it up a bit, the cut out down the side was made with a Martha Stewart punch.

Card for new grandparents

My youngest sister and brother-in-law have just become proud grandparents for the first time, this is the card i made for them. Its an easil card and i used a Clipart Fairy image.

This card is for my niece ---- she was so excited when she found out her big sister was going to have a baby and she would be an auntie ...i had to make her a card ..lol !

I used "Buttonhole babies! image  and put some inside ...love these little cuties.

Hi ! everybody.

Its been a couple of months since i've added anything to my blog, sorry about that .... i know i'm a bad blogger!

This is a few cards that i've made recently.........

First one is a card i made for my nice who passed her driving test .....

The next two card i made for two of my nieces who where 21 years old in Aug, they are twin so it was a very lively party !   The cards depict their own pastimes and paths in life..... Anna-Marie loves Photography and hopes to travel when she has saved enough money to do so. They both love horses and music but Sarah-Louise has been attending an agricultural college and hopes to work with horses as a profession.
