Lili of the Valley Rosie Posy

Hi everybody, i hope you're all well!
I made this card for a dear friend of mine for her birthday. I used a 6x6 card and mounted the image onto a Sizzix die cut topper. I used Promarkers to colour the image which was stamped using the "Rosie Posy" rubber stamp from "Lili of the Valley", (i think my colouring is improving slowly but still need lots more pactice!)   the message was computer generated + a ribbon and some flower gems and also a few flowers from "Wild Orchid Crafts"

Thank you for looking ....and for all your comments!

Card with a difference!

I was asked to make this card by my friend for her daughter-in-law who likes Skulls, i think she was a Goth in her younger days. I have been informed that it went down really well and the recipient was over the moon with it!

The card was 6x6 and another piece of card mounted an inch from the edge that had been embossed and another piece of black card with the image on 2inch in from that, you cant really see from the pic but there are three seperate layers. I added some red gems top and bottom, the tag was computer generated and cut using a Memory Box "Chadwick Label" die.

Thanks for looking.

I love these easil cards and they are so easy to put together with a little bit of my own input added, the edges and words are glittered but its hard to see in the pic and the window has acetait on it.

Across the winning line !

Hi everybody.... a friend asked me to make a card for her sister who loves running, this is what i came up with!

The lovely image was drawn by Pamela, a talented member of the Crafters Reunited forum. I coloured it with Promarkers and used the tear process to create the background, i added a piece of cord for the finishing line and some little floral gems....the little piece of fence was in my stash so don't know which die cut it but the border strip was cut with an Xcut punch!

Sorry the image isn't good it was taken with my mobile camera!

Thanks for looking and also thanks to my regular followers for all your kind comments on my cards, they are appreciated ...i promise i will try to post regularly :-)

Happy Easter

I hope everybody has had a nice Easter holiday. Brian and i have had a nice quiet weekend, its his birthday on Tues and our son is coming for tea which will be nice.
I have a very good friend who is quite poorly so a have been saying some prayers for her for some positive news from the consultant, it would be nice if other people could spare the time to say some also!

I have two cards to show you, one i made for Mothers Day and the other was for my nephew.

The dies i used for this one are from Marianne and are Anja's Quadrate set  the feather die top and bottom are from the Double Frame Die Set. Message is computer generated.

I used the Little Clare tree stamp for this one and the backing paper came from my stash.

Cards at last

Hi Everybody, i hope your all well. We have had some more snow so it is very cold at the moment.

Well i have at last got some cards to post! I have found it hard to apply myself to finishing a card off, i have a few in the process and more images coloured but putting them together was another thing.

The first one was for a friend, i used a Crafts U Print image, i decoupaged it and added some glitter and  dimonties

Next one is a card i made for my sister-in law's birthday, i used "Stampin up" Pocket Silhouettes Stamp and Big and Jucie ink pad.

Next one was made for my sister's 50th birthday, i used 8x8 card and a Clipart Fairy image. I added Glamour Dust all over the image and round the edges to give it a touch of glamour, i also added some diamonties. I have already made a card with this image shown in a post below but when printed it came out mauve, i think it must have been the card i printed on because this one shows the true colour turquoise.

Thank you for looking, i have another couple of cards in the process so hope to show you them soon.

Happy New Year!

"Happy New Year" to all my followers! I also hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

I'm sorry i haven't been posting the last couple of months. My camera developed a fault so had to be sent away to be repaired, I've only had it just over a year but luckily i took out an extended warranty.....because of this i couldn't photograph my cards!

I also lost a bag full of stamps, dies, embossing powders and extras that i bought for my Xmas cards and after searching everywhere for them had to re-think the cards i was going to make ---just my luck!! Guess what ?...i found them after finishing my cards and putting all my Xmas craft away for another year! I have decided i must try and make a few cards each month for next Xmas, i will enjoy making them this way and not have to rush them and i can use all the lovely products i bought and never used ...lol!!

Below is a few cards i made and were on the camera when it went for repair and have just managed to download them.

First card is a Xmas card i made for my Mam using a Craftsuprint download, it was decoupaged and i added lots of glamour dust with some gold card behind the image.

Next one was another Xmas card, everything was made from bits and pieces in my stash.

Next one was a card for a friends birthday, the glitter and stencil used was from Imagination crafts. I loved using this technique and cant wait to do more. i added a message and ribbon from my stash. The pic of the first card is taken with my Camera before it went for repair ....the card wasn't finished but the glitter on the card shows better than the second finished card which i had to take with the camera on my phone.

Next card is a Clipart Fairy download, i love Easel cards and i think this one works well!

The next one was a commissioned card using a Hunkydory kit of backing card and image, the message was computer generated.

Next one is a card i made for my friends Daughter and her partner after the birth of their baby son Scott. The image of the giraffe was a Clipart Fairy download and the message was computer generated.

Next card was made for my sister-in-law using a Hunkydory kit again ..... they are very handy when your mojo goes walk about :-) lol ! I used a Martha Stewart punch for down the side and added a ribbon and some gems!

Next one is a Card i made for my friend on the birth of her first grandson, i printed the message on the card first and matted it onto a blue and then white card. The image i used was printed and then decoupaged, i added some glamour dust and some baby blue hearts to the corners.

This card was for my mam's birthday, its not the best pic as i had to use my mob phone to take it because my Camera was away for repair. The image is one from CraftsuPrint. I added Glamour dust and some pearls , the message was computer generated and cut using a Sizzix label cutting die.
